Java Real Estate, formerly known as Creative Enterprises, is a real estate business that specializes in developing and investing in properties. The company's work has been successful over the last few years with high-quality development projects to their name. I was contracted by Java Real Estate to build them an informative website about the company while displaying some of their property transformations.

Working till we got it right

Mr. Small had been trying for years to get a website up and running, but often found himself getting caught in the day-to-day responsibilities of operating his business or was frustrated with lack of knowledge on how to achieve results he wanted. After working together over the course of several weeks, we went through countless mockups and content revisions until finally landing on something that stuck. Just as Mr. Small acquired a new partner--his son!--he realized it would be time for rebranding efforts under their newly established name; so after going back to drawing board again (and tweaking design accordingly), we emerged with a design that fit the image of their new brand.

A need for control

Now we originally opted to build the website for Java Real Estate in WordPress, but Mr. Small who is not as tech-savvy as his son wanted the control to go and edit things on his own when he wanted to. This was where Webflow came in with its simple content management system, allowing Mr. Small a chance at logging into an editor that's easy enough for anybody! Choosing to use Webflow led us away from a lot of the traditional headaches that come with WordPress sites. Mr. Small didn't have to find and pay for hosting, he never has to worry about updating the site software- there is no need! And I was able produce something beautiful without all the bloat or confusion of WordPress theming.
